French World Cup winner Paul Pogba's 18-month ban for doping is over and he is now free to secure a new club.
The 31 year old former Manchester United and Juventus midfielder received a four year ban in 2023 and was set to be out until early 2027 but a succesful appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sport CAS reduced it to 18 months.
Pogba who was a part of the winning squad in the 2018 World Cup was banned in August 2023 after testing positive for Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) in an anti-doping test.
He was later in 2023 offloaded by his club Juventus and has since been a free agent.
In an interview in 2024 on Twitch, Pogba stated that he was looking at options already and had several offers on the table from European clubs, especially in his home Country France.
However, it is most likely he will end up abroad, with the United States and Saudi Arabian leagues thought to be interesting destinations for the colorful Pogba.
His last appearance was on 3 September 2023 when Juventus faced Empoli, culminating in a 2-0 win for the Old Lady of Turin.
